Looking for nice DI/preamp to couple with K&K pure mini pickup

Hey guys, it'due south been awhile. I play a Blueridge BR70 with an undersaddle K&K pure mini (?). The K&K has 3 small disc transducers that fit underneath the saddle. I institute out that I really need a preamp to become what I want when running it through the PA. I'm currently using a BBE sonic stomp to give me that clarity/boost. I similar it but I wanted to inquire y'all guys what might be a amend choice. Here's what I've been looking at merely not tried yet:

• Art Tube MP Studio Mic Preamp (Really reasonably priced) - Very curious how this would sound vs. the BBE.
  
• Blood-red Eye Fire Eye preamp - Adequately expensive but curious besides.

• Fishman Aura

I'm sure I've left a lot off the list. I'm looking for something reasonably priced (less than $200). I merely want your opinions on the best DI/preamp for the coin. Thanks a ton.

The Yard&Yard wants to see a preamp with a 1M ohm input impedance.

A Boss EQ pedal is 1M ohm and probably the lowest priced option especially buying used. That'south what I use with my mini. Works fine for the places I play.

The Red Eye and Burn down Eye have had a lot of praise over a long menstruum every bit the preamp for K&Thousand. That is what I would cull.

I have a JJB and a K&Grand in guitars. I had a Baggs ParaDI and wasn't happy with the tone. I recently picked up the RedEye and accept used it once or twice with other folks PAs. So far, and then practiced.

Although the EQ is rather limited. Just, realistically, I hope the audio guy does me right and all I actually demand is a boost, which the Redeye has. If I really go worried about the EQ, information technology has the effects loop. Anyway, gonna stick with it for a while and encounter how it treats me.

offer them $200. they'll accept it. i honey mine. total game changer. does it all, works with all of my guitars (flat summit, archtop, baritone, electrics, etc), all my pickups (piezo, soundhole, floating, regular electric ones) and yous can toss near of your other boxes. i doubt anything in the price range comes shut. kinda big and heavy compared to other options simply i feel its worth it. 10ohm input, but it does have an input trim to recoup, and a dominate pedal tin handle that, worst come to worst.

whatsoever you do, get something with sweepable mids and a low cut.
